My brain is full!!

And it looks like most of the news about Supernatural has already spread, so here are a couple of thoughts on Jared's Friday the 13th panel. I'm working on full reports for SFUniverse but that's going to take a day or so while I get all this stuff transcribed.

First off - trailer was so gruesome and scary, I couldn't watch -- most of it. Jared was literally in it for a few seconds,that's it. Still, it looks like a fabulous movie if you're into slasher flicks.

He was terrific on the panel, smiling ear to ear. Actually, everyone (except one person) was interesting to listen to, funny and informative.

Jared announced at the top that he had his own idea for the Friday franchise, "A prequel, Thursday the 12th."

The creators had some comments about needing to find someone large enough to terrorize Jared -- I'll get that exact quote.

Also, randomly during the panel, someone (the creator maybe) asked the audience if we've ever seen Jared with his shirt off. He did a double take then said, "watch the movie and by shirt he means pants!" Oh Jared, way to get an audience involved.

Fuller made a comment about how they were getting away from the "whole supernatural thing" and Jared made this, 'hey, what?' face. Too funny

And oh, man - when you let Jared loose. . . he was trying to say how really menacing Meers was, who is playing Jason. He called it a whole new level of scare and then went into this.
"It's the difference between fight a hippo or a lion. The lion is going to get you. The hippo, well, just get out the water."

Are we still talking about Friday the 13th here?

Jared on how physical the movie was - "I woke up and it was like, 'who kicked my ass?' Oh, yeah, I was shooting a movie."
